Application preparation

Before an application is ready, UniMate reviews the required documents, programme information and any case-specific conditions that are known at that stage.

Suitable university or programme options are added by UniMate staff after reviewing the student profile. A recommendation is not an admission guarantee.

Application stages

A case may move through stages such as:

  • Draft or documents pending
  • Ready to submit
  • Submitted
  • Under review
  • Interview or additional request
  • Conditional or unconditional offer
  • Rejected, withdrawn or enrolled

After submission

Universities control their own review timelines and decisions. If an institution asks for additional information, the request can be added to your portal as a task, document request or message.

Keep checking your portal

Use the Applications and Action Center areas to see what UniMate has recorded, what needs your action and what is currently waiting on an external institution.
